In a world where comfort encourages the ordinary and potential often lies dormant, one must confront a profound truth: greatness is never given; it is only earned.
Imagine those silent, pivotal moments—the early morning training, the late-night studies, the relentless creative pursuit—where the real battle is fought not with others, but with the chains of your own doubt. Ask yourself this: What if the only thing standing between you and every achievement you've ever longed for is the person you are right now?
This is the year to push beyond your self-imposed limits, to witness the quiet, intense journey of transformation, and to ultimately rise up as the better version of yourself.
See a challenge that makes you question if you're capable? Don't hesitate—take the risk and go for it. Whether it's tryouts, joining a new club, seeking a promotion, or asking out someone you think is "out of your league," the time to act is now. Surprise yourself. If the answer is no, move to the next opportunity. But if you want it badly, then commit: train harder, learn more, seek coaching—do whatever it takes.
The only limit is you.

Losing is going to happen at times, and I believe it teaches us to be humble, it makes us better with sportsmanship, it teaches us how to treat others when they have lost, because you understand the sting of defeat.
If you win all the time without more effort, those victories will become hollow and meaningless. When you win from a hard fought battle it will mean more to you. The memory of that moment in your life will last longer and you will receive more from the experience. It will make you stronger and mold you into the person you are to become in the future.
"YOUR BEST EFFORT"
When you're at practice and you want to earn the team's respect, you need to be working your butt off, playing and practicing harder than the guy next to you. Your effort is also inspiring your team mates to work harder as well, as they try to keep up.
On the field during a game, your Effort will make your opponents wish they never went up against you in the first place, because talent is one thing that makes people look good, but Effort, Hard Work and Dedication will earn you more respect from those around you, on or off the field, than just being talented.
In life you will hear, “he is really talented or gifted” but what people should say is, “that person is a Hard Worker”. No one talks about the amount of dedication and effort it took to get as good as they are. Extraordinary people do not just have luck or were born with god given talent, some of their skills might have come easier to them than to others, but if you talk to them or listen to their stories, they all have stories of being bullied or had hard times. They have had some doubt in themselves at one time or another.
The biggest difference is how they use their mind to change their attitude to be successful to become winners. I believe winning in life is all that really matters.
Winning at what makes you happy and brings you joy is also going to change as you grow- up. Keep looking for joy in your life and by helping others find joy in their lives, that will make you all winners.
Keep giving your Best Effort to find joy and happiness in your own life and to those around you, it will mean more in the end than the score at the end of some game!
